This year’s exhibition will showcase the work of thirteen photographers from eight different countries, demonstrating innovative visual approaches and pushing the boundaries of photographic genres.
We are also extremely pleased to have established photographer Edmund Clark on the list of our highly esteemed judges this year. A main prize of £1000, a graduate prize of £250, a printing and mentoring session at Metro Imaging, a portfolio binding session at the Wyvern Bindery and an offer of a three year contract with Millennium Images will be awarded to the winners during the opening by the judges.
The private view will take place on Thursday 2nd of October 2014, 6.30pm – 9.00pm, at DreamSpace Gallery, 1-3 Dufferin Street, London EC1 8NA (map to the gallery).The exhibition will run from Wednesday 1st of October until Thursday 23rd of October 2014, 9.00am – 5.30pm, excluding weekends.
This year Peaches & Cream IV private view was a hugely successful event with a great turnout! We were proud to have such an enthusiastic audience and to receive excellent feedback. We wish to thank all the people who attended the opening night on Thursday 2nd of October and who celebrated the awarding of the two prizes with us.
We are proud to announce that the main prize of £1000 has been awarded to Iranian photographer Tannaz Amin. In her series “Scattered Memories” the artist explores the potentialities of photography as holder of memory, cultural heritage and a place of universal nostalgia. The images are derived from the artist’s family album which shows the everyday life in old time Iran. The graduate prize of £250 has been won by Alix Marie for her photographic installation and book. Her project deals with photography and the body.
